The hops, which serve as natural preservatives, were insufficient to prevent microbial infection in the IPA sample below. As a result, the beer soured and spoiled after three months at room temperature.

However, the post-shredded beer displayed a count of 0 CFU/ml both at one week and after three months, indicating that the SHREDDER significantly enhanced the shelf life of the beer without the need for refrigeration, energy, or additives.

Chart comparing microbial growth in untreated beer versus Shredded beer. The untreated beer shows spoilage after 3 months, while the treated beer shows zero growth, proving the effectiveness of the Shredder.

We took the heat out of pasteurization.

Shredder isn’t magic; it’s a precisely calibrated, nanoscale, mechanical shredding that targets microbial cell walls.

As your beverage passes through our Shredder cartridges, the nanostructured media within instantly and physically shreds microbes.

This process ensures a fast and effective microbial kill without the kinetic energy (heat) that damages flavor.

$0 CapEx and just $42K/year OpEx.

OUR SOLUTION

THE PROBLEM

Heat damages the flavor it is meant to protect.

Zero heat, zero PU.

No heating, cooling, dedicated power, or process water beyond CIP.

Heat costs you energy, carbon, and process water.

*Estimates, Oct 2026. 100,000 bbl/yr, 20 PU.
